OUTLANDER panel at NY Comic Con on Oct. 17
We learned today that there will be an OUTLANDER panel discussion at NY Comic Con on Thursday, Oct. 17 starting at 6:30 pm ET. Sam, Cait, Rik, Sophie, John Bell, Maril Davis, and Diana Gabaldon will be there.
Obviously this is intended as part of the publicity for the upcoming release of the second half of OUTLANDER Season 7 (starting Nov. 22), but given the timing -- OUTLANDER's 8th and final season will be wrapping up filming any day now -- it will also give all of them a chance to talk about Season 8 and look back at the series as a whole. I have to wonder if this will be one of the last of these panels featuring all of the main cast members in person? I would think that it's going to be harder, from now on, to get all of them together at the same time, once they move on from OUTLANDER to other projects.
I'm sure they will have a live stream or a video of the panel discussion, for those of us who can't be there in person. I'll put the link up here as soon as it's available.
Some of the audience's questions were quite good; some were silly. So I wondered what I'd ask, if I were there, and thought how these characters have become gods and goddess. The actors have as well. My question would be which deity would they like to be or imagine they were.
There are plenty of Celtic and Greek gods and goddess to
consider. I see Diana as Artemis, Goddess of the hunt. :-)
