It's a wrap! OUTLANDER's last day of filming!

Today (September 27, 2024) was the last day of filming for the 8th and final season of OUTLANDER! Here are some of the photos of the cast that STARZ released to mark the occasion.

Today marks the final day of filming on the final season of Outlander. Words cannot express the gratitude owed to each and every hard-working cast and crew member who brought this incredible series to life and every single fan who supports it with passion, creativity, and dedication. Outlander really is more than just a show, it’s a family, and while filming might be ending, there’s so much more to this journey that’s just beginning.

Like so many other fans of Diana Gabaldon's books, I approached the series at first with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Would they stay more or less faithful to the books, or would they screw up the characters, butcher the dialogue, omit some of my favorite scenes? Much to my relief, for the most part, they've exceeded my expectations. The entire cast and crew have been phenomenal from the beginning, and it still takes my breath away to see some of my favorite moments from the book coming to life on TV.
