It's official: BEES IS FINISHED!!!

Diana Gabaldon announced early this morning that she has FINISHED writing Book 9, GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE!!!

This is really exciting news, and definitely something to celebrate! But please note:

1) This doesn't mean the book is ready to be sent to the printer just yet! There are many steps in the production process that need to be completed first. Look here for Diana's detailed explanation of how the process works. I found it very informative and I would really encourage you all to take the time to read it.

2) Diana says she has no idea when the book will be published. The publication date will be set by her US publisher, Penguin Random House. As soon as I hear anything about a possible publication date, I'll post here. Check back later for further updates.
