A wee giftie from Diana!



Diana Gabaldon sent me this lovely gift basket of dates from the Sphinx Date Co. in Scottsdale, AZ, where she lives.

Here's the inscription on the card accompanying them:



The card reads, "Dear Karen, Happy Hannukah and a Great New Year! Thanks for Everything -- especially the gift of your friendship! Love, Diana".

Isn't that sweet of her? I'm delighted that she values our friendship as much as I do. It's a very precious gift to me as well, as you can imagine.

The dates look yummy and I'm sure I'll enjoy them very much. <g>

    Always wonderful to feel appreciated...for your work, but especially for your friendship. I can't imagine the joy of having the fantastic Diana Gabaldon as a friend...you are blessed.Congratulations on your entertaining blog and Happy Hanukkah! Wishing you all the best in the New Year!
