Congratulations also to my friends and fellow Compuserve forum members, Silvia Giachetti and Vicki Pack, who both made important contributions to this book. Silvia's illustrations are just wonderful (you can see more of Silvia's OUTLANDER fan art here), and Vicki's comprehensive list of all the sex scenes in Diana Gabaldon's books (found in the Appendix at the end of the book) is really useful. I'm thrilled for both of them! <g>

    Hi Karen , thanks for mentioning this , I'll put this onto my Nook e-reader as soon as possible , this should be fascinating to read and get an inside look at Diana 's writing progress, right now I'm reading "Written In My Own Hearts Blood" and in the Fall will be reading "Voyager " as well listen to the audio CDs , I strongly recommend them to fans , Davina Porter does an amazing job with the narration please post more soon. Sincerely

    This is a terrific addition to the Diana Gabaldon library I have. I have had to reread her explanations a couple of times while using her examples as models to understand how she writes so well. When you read such evocative writing as she provides in the books, it is easy to overlook the particular skills she has applied. You just get the image clearly I your head. I will never attempt to write fiction but this little e-book gives a lucid analysis of the techniques she uses. I love the pencil drawings too.
