OUTLANDER has received three nominations for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards!

Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama - Caitriona Balfe
Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series - Tobias Menzies
Best Television Series - Drama - OUTLANDER

Congratulations to Caitriona, Tobias, and everyone involved with the OUTLANDER TV series!!

So--is this cool, or what? MASSIVE congratulations to everyone--cast, crew, and fans <g>--who've made the show the wonderful thing that it is!
Am I disappointed that Sam Heughan didn't get a nomination as well, for his amazing performance as Jamie? Of course I am, but there's always next year....

I am happy for Caitriona, Tobias, and Outlander but heartbroken that Sam's remarkably dynamic and emotional portrayal of a character beloved by so many was not recognized. Sam made Jamie come to life , and what would Outlander be without Sam's strong, true , heartfelt performance. I cannot believe that Sam was not nominated.

I am shocked that they could nominate (very deservedly) Tobias, Caitriona and the show and not Sam. He is Jamie and his whole performance has been wonderful, not just the last 2 episodes, but all of them, from portraying a 22 year old innocent, but intelligent young man, to the scene at the river after rescuing Claire, the quiet humor that makes Jamie so special, to his stubborn sense of honor. I just don't see how they could exclude him when so many of Cait and Tobias's best scenes were played off Sam's.

Here's hoping they win!!!
