As for this challenge, it only says read all 7 books by the end of the year. It doesn't say you have to stop where you are in the re-read and start over!
Personally, I think it might take Carol most of the year to do a re-read of the whole series. :-) Considering that it took her what, 8 or 9 months to read the books the first time? But I really don't mean that in a negative way. It takes me a full year to get through all the OUTLANDER + LJ audiobooks. I started over with OUTLANDER in mid-December.

Only the usual....the reward of immersing yourself in a wonderful story, revisiting familiar characters, etc. :-) I've participated in a number of these reading challenges before, and they're meant just for fun.

Welcome to the club (of OUTLANDER-addicts, that is!) I'm glad this challenge came along at a convenient time for you!
You'll be amazed at the number of things you pick up on re-reading, that you never would have noticed the first time, no matter how slowly or how carefully you read.
